Sport sparks cross-generational passion, uniting people around the world. In harmony with the credo All Together Now., sport events provide a forum where all parts of society come together for a mutually valued cause. Since the launch of The Custodians Plastic Race alongside the arrival of The Ocean Race 2023 in Genova, sport events have provided the BioDesign Foundation with fantastic opportunities to encounter motivated people with a high preparedness support collective efforts such as The Custodians Plastic Race. Further, the cross-generational attention paid to sport events has proven invaluable in the promotion and enhancement of the foundation’s activities. Past and ongoing sustainability partnerships with events such as The Ocean Race 2023, Marina Militare Nastra Rosa Tour 2023/2024, or The European Athletic Championship Rome 2024, as well as our durable, institutional partnership with sport federations SU as the European Sailing Federation EUROSAF have proven greatly successful for both our partners and us. At BioDesign Foundation, we are convinced of the mutual benefit of the sustainability activities, both practical and educational, that the BioDesign Foundation brings to sport events. We identify sport federations as crucial partners in our mission.
